Yes Minister is a British TV sitcom that starred Paul Eddington, Nigel Hawthorne and Derek Fowlds and ran from 1980 through until 1984 and was split over three seven episode series. Yes Minister eventually stopped in 1984 only to be replaced if you were by the sequel Yes, Prime Minister. Yes Minister follows the careers of Jim Hacker MP and his various social and political struggles. Yes Minister is to be considered under the political satire genre as well as of course British Sitcom.

Yes Minister also had a wonderful opening TV theme song and features cartoon animation caricature drawings of the cast whilst at the same time you can hear the great TV theme song, which we believe is just entitled Yes Minister theme. The composer for this wonderful series was none other than Ronnie Hazlehurst and is predominantly based on the chimes of Big Ben and the Westminster Quarters.
