CSI: Miami is an American police procedural TV series, which ran from 2002 until 2012 and it was a TV spin off from its parent show CSI: Criminal Scene Investigation. The premise of this highly successful TV show was that it followed the lives of employees at Miami-Dade Police Department and how one by one they take down highly dangerous criminals in the Miami area. Unlike other TV shows in CSI: Miami they are cops first and scientist second. In the duration of this TV series it ran for a total of 232 episodes, this being over the space of 10 seasons.

As well as CSI: Miami being widely popular and hugely successful it also had quite the opening TV theme song, performed by a much admired and respected band. The opening TV theme song is a song entitled ‘Won’t Get Fooled Again’ and is a song performed by the English rock band ‘The Who’. This song was from their album ‘Who’s Next’ and was a total of 8 minutes 32 seconds long but was edited down to 3 minutes 38 seconds when it was released as their single.
