In San Andreas, California, it is expected that an earthquake that is the size of the entire state is about to happen and the residents don’t have much time to escape their homes. Not only that but it’s expected to be the biggest one in history. Played by Dwayne Johnson, Ray Gaines, is the main character in this story line who is a father and a helicopter rescue pilot for the Los Angeles Fire Department. The story line is revolves around determinedly searching the whole time for his daughter, Blake, played by Alexandra Daddario. Along for the helicopter and boat rides will be his separated wife, Emma, who will end up uniting with him during the mission to save their baby girl. With lots of adventurous and thrilling stunt scenes, this film depicts the San Andres Fault faltering from its standard routine location in the earth. Thus, an earthquake of a magnitude 9 occurs, leaving the whole state of California to devastation and the family going through many obstacles to locate Blake. Blake on the other hand goes through the traumatic experience with someone on her ride to her surprise and is forced to make decisions about trust in this life and death scenario.
