If you were around in the 90’s to early 00’s and was over the age of 5 and live in the UK then you probably remember this biscuit that came out of nowhere called the BN Biscuit. The wonderful and tasty BN Biscuit consisted of some chocolate that was squashed and sandwiched in between two biscuits. On the top side of the biscuit was a smiley winking face that was cut out allowing us to see the chocolate through it. In this advert however they are re-selling them are marketing up using the same old wonderful theme song. In this advert we see two sisters sit down to watch TV as their mother brings them some McVitie’s BN biscuits and milk. The one sister opens the packet and out comes this cute, adorable and fluffy owl which stares at her with his big eyes. Before we know it there are two owl now, one on each of the sisters heads.

Throughout this brilliant television advertisement for these BN Biscuits we have an incredible song playing, which in the 90’s and early 00’s was the song for this and seems as it worked back then why wouldn’t it work now. This TV advert song as you already probably know is entitled ‘Mahna Mahna’ and is performed by the fantastic puppet comedy sketch show that is The Muppets. We think and now that this TV advert theme song works perfectly with this advertisement because it did so many years ago, and is a truly brilliant, catchy and funny song.
