Not quite your normal McDonald’s advert now is it. Here in this television advertisement we have the celebration of the worldwide infamous fast food mega chain McDonald’s. In the advert we see what can only be described as a horrible, miserable and very wet camping holiday that is being shared by a family. Throughout the initial part of the TV advert we say the rain continuously pouring, bouncing up from the ground and filling up cups, pots and pans. Whilst this is happening we get to see the family who look sad and wet sat on their chairs in their now sodden tent. As things look like they couldn’t possibly get any worse, they don’t as a glare of car headlights beam into their tent. With the family now raising a smile we see another family member coming out of the car with some coffees and a big bag full of tasty McDonald’s food. As the advert comes to a close there is text that comes across the screen which says ‘The Camping Trip SOS’ underneath exclaiming that McDonald’s is celebrating their 40 year anniversary.
