The premise of Girl Meets World is that we follow Cory and Topanga’s Matthews’ daughter Riley played by Rowan Blanchard and her best friend, Maya Hart, played by Sabrina Carpenter as they navigate their way through seventh grade. The series is actually set in New York City where Corey and Topanga moved to in the series finale of Boy Meets World.
