Genie in the House is a British based Kids TV show that aired on Nickelodeon UK and was quite the success. The premise for the Nickelodeon show was that a widowed father Phillip Norton and his two daughters Emma and Sophie discover a lamp, in which they find a real Genie. The Genie they release is called Adil and he is a trainee Genie who has been living in the lamp for a thousand years. The audience then follows the misadventures of Adil and the Norton family in all of its British comedy gold.
