Flash Gordon Theme Song
Flash Gordon is an 1980 British science fiction movie that is based on the comic strip of the same name. Although there are some differences between the comic book strip and this movie, all elements are generally the same. The synopsis for the movie is that Emperor Ming the Merciless plans on first toying and playing with Earth before eventually destroying it. Meanwhile on Earth New York Jets football star ‘Flash’ Gordon is living his life normally, eventually as with all great comic book stories we see a battle between the two forces. About The Flash Gordon Movie Theme Song
Throughout the entire movie all the music is provided by British rock band Queen and Howard Blake. This of course includes the infamous Flash Gordon movie theme song, which is performed by Queen themselves and entitled ‘Flash’. Queen, as well as providing the theme song for the movie, made the song their own and provided their official music video for the song too.
