Camp Rock is an American Disney Channel original movie starring primarily Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers. This Disney Channel movie first premiered in 2008 and was a huge success which enabled it to have a sequel. The plot to this movie is that Mitchie Torres is an aspiring musician and wants to make it big, so to do this wants to go to ‘Camp Rock’ but her family can’t afford the tuition. Her mother however gets a job catering food for the camp enabling Mitchie to go to the camp. However when Mitchie played by Demi Lovato arrives she soon learns she is the only one to gain access through her mother as her fellow campers have notable roots. Eventually we see Mitchie meet Shane, played by Joe Jonas, and we meet his brothers Nate and Jason played by his real life brother Nick and Kevin Jonas. At the end we see that Mithcie really does have the voice and duets with Shane and everyone leaves camp that summer happy.
