Buffy the Vampire Slayer is a supernatural dram which was fronted primarily by Sarah Michelle Gellar who played Buffy Summers. The series ran from the 10th of March 1998 until the 20th of May 2003 and was created by writer and director Joss Whedon. The premise of the programme is that the young and innocent Buffy gets chosen as a Vampire Slayer which is chosen by fate and must now protect innocent people from the vampires and demons. Buffy like every other slayer has a group of close friends who become known as the Scooby Gang.
