Football is the name of the game in this television advertisement as BT Sport advertise the upcoming 2014/15 premier league season. At the beginning of this TV advert we have a dark screen with the words ‘Anfield. 8th February 2014’ on and if you’re a football fan then you will know what this represents if not, allow me to explain what happens next in the advert. After this has been shown to us we get sent into houses and bars where football supporters are watch a match between Liverpool and Arsenal and proceeds to show the fist goal scored by Liverpool and the reactions of both team supporters. This gets much worse for Arsenal fans as Liverpool go on to beat them 5-0 and humiliate them. During one stage in the advert we also see Jose Mourinho who says unbelievable in regards to the scoreline. This is then building up to the upcoming season and shocks and surprises we might see in future games.
