Birds of a Feather is a BAFTA nominated British TV sitcom that ran 101 episodes over 10 years. The series ran from 1989 to 1998 on BBC One but in 2014 the series was revived by ITV and starring the three main actresses. They are of course Pauline Quirke, Linda Robson and Lesley Joseph. In order they play Sharon, Tracey and Dorien. The synopsis of the show is that Sharon moves in with Tracey because of their husbands being sent to prison for armed robbery. The show then revolves around the mostly comedic misadventures of the sisters and their nosy, nymphomaniac like next door neighbor Dorien.

As well as Birds of a Feather being hugely successful in its time, this being pointed out by the series being brought back in 2014, it also has quite the notable TV theme song. The theme song for the show is entitled ‘What’ll I Do’ and was composed by Irving Berlin in 1923 . This TV show theme song, had the kind of notability that when you heard it, you knew in that moment that you were in for comedy gold with the threesome of actresses that made up Birds of a Feather.
