Top Gear is British controversial, yet much loved motoring show. The BBC Two series is fronted by Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May. Top Gear also has an anonymous racing driver who goes out and sets lap times in the car as well as instructing celebrity guests off camera for the ‘Star in a Reasonably Priced Car’ segment. Originally Top Gear had three hosts, as they do now but instead of James May they had Jason Dawe. Top Gear also have many special episodes in which they spend the entirety of the episode in one long mission, for example long distance travelling, or having to buy the best car on a limited budget and then having to complete a series of challenges.
