Thor : The Dark World is the second Thor film to be made by Marvel and was produced by Alan Taylor. It shows the return of Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Tom Hiddleston as Loki. This film takes place 2 years after the events of the first film and we join Thor travelling from realm to realm trying to make peace across the 9 realms. Upon his return to Asgard it is clear that the dark elves have returned and Heimdall the keeper of the gate also informs Thor that Jane Foster has disappeared off earth. Thor ventures to earth in search of Jane who reappears not long after he does and they are both quickly surrounded by the police, when suddenly a dark burst of energy pulses from Jane knocking the police away, fearing that Jane may have come into contact with the Aether he quickly rushes them back to Asgard. Can Thor save Jane and fight off the dark elves?
