The Fresh Prince of Bel Air is an American TV sitcom that aired from September 10th, 1990 to May the 20th 1996. The show stars the infamous Will Smith who plays himself in the programme. Will Smith is a teenager from West Philadelphia who is sent to move with his Uncle and Aunt in their Bel Air mansion where his street and hip hop lifestyle often goes head on with his other family members in a comedy so infamous everyone knows the theme song. The TV series revolves similarly to the actor Will Smiths actual life because he was a popular and successful rapper during the late 80’s but he spent his money freely and underpaid his taxes forcing the IRS to give him a penalty of $2.8million, but luckily was approached and later become known as The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
