The Avengers is a 2012 Marvel Action and Adventure movie directed by Joss Whedon, with Robert Downey Jr returning as Tony Stark/Iron man with Chris Evans as the teams leader Steve Rogers/Captain America. Mark Ruffalo stars as Bruce Banner/The Hulk with Chris Hemsworth returning as the god of thunder Thor. Scarlett Johansson also reprises the role as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow and Samuel L. Jackson stars as Nick fury. The plot begins with Nick Fury loosing the artifact known as the tesseract to Thor’s younger brother Loki and therefore having no option but to put his team of avengers together. After gathering all 6 of the earths mightiest heroes it is quite obvious that they have a lot of differences and disagreements. Will they be able to put aside their differences and stop the mischievous Loki and his alien army from enslaving humanity.
