Based on science fiction novel by Rick Yancy, “The 5th Wave” is a thriller action packed film depicting an almost completely destroyed Earth. With the four waves of deadly attacks on the planet, a lack of trusted information lands Cassie in an unforeseen situation that leads to Cassie to go on the run against the upcoming fifth wave. Additionally, she takes on a personal obligation to protect her little brother too. When everything is chaotic and nobody to be relied on, the coming of age character of Cassie finds herself in a situation that calls for taking a leap of faith. She must trust a young man, Evan Walker, who she has teamed up or else hope that she desperately began her run for may be lost. “The 5th Wave” is a movie that swings viewers into the front seat where they excitedly root for gang’s survival.
