The main star of this movie is John Travolta and he plays Antony ‘Tony’ Manero. In this movie Tony is a young 19 year old Italian-American from Brooklyn in New York, who works a dead end shop at a hardware store and lives with his parents. Tony doesn’t really enjoy himself as he finds it monotonous, expect a Saturday night where he begins the King of the dance floor at the 2001 Odyssey disco club. Tony has a closely knit group of friends who are Joey, Double J, Gus and Bobby C. Tony also has a female admirer Annette who longs for a more permanent and physical relationship with Tony.
