Project X is an American comedy movie that was released in 2012 and directed by Nima Nourizadeh. The premise of Project X is that is follows three friends who plan to gain popularity by throwing the best house party ever, only it goes a little too well and extremely out of control. The three friends are Thomas, Costa and J.B who in reality are Thomas Mann, Oliver Cooper and Johnathan Daniel Brown. Interestingly Project X was initially just a placeholder for the movie title as they hadn’t come up with one. But to their surprise Project X got a load of attention because of the secretiveness of it and so was used as the official title.
