When Doctor Louis Creed moves to Maine with his family he gets more than he bargained for. When the family pet dies, the neighbour advises him to bury the cat in the ground close to the pet cemetery. The cat returns from the grave, but is not the same animal it was. When Louis’ son dies in a tragic accident he decides to bury him in the same ground with dire consequences.
