NCIS is an American procedural drama which revolves around a team of special agents and analysts who form the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS). The premise of the show is that the supervisory special agent is Leroy ‘Jethro’ Gibbs who is played by Mark Harmon leads a team of fellow agents into the field, to uncover a murder associated with the Navy. Another concept of the show is that a forensic analyst and chief medical examiner play a vital role in finding out how exactly the victim died. There is also a comedic value to the show, portrayed by various love interests and banter among colleagues.
