Minder was a British comedy drama about the London Criminal Underworld. The TV series was created by Leon Griffiths and its two main stars were George Cole and Dennis Waterman, who play Arthur Daley and Terry McCann respectively. The duration of the successful show ran for ten series between the years 1979 and 1994. The overall premise of the show was that Terry McCann was an likable and honest bodyguard , or Minder for London Slang for Arthur Daley who was a socially ambitions dodgy dealing wheeler dealing kinda guy, and always made money whether it was inside the law or not.
