“Joy” is based on a true story starring Jennifer Lawrence. It is about a fierce girl who has grown up to be a single mother and leader of a business. The plot will showcase the struggles she will encounter and must overcome in order to be a successful entrepreneur. The challenges will be difficult as they are not only external but pose internally. The theme that the movie carries is a little bit comedic along with drama and giving off a bit of a biography feel. Film viewers will also be shown the true story spanning multiple generations.
