This classic musical movie follows a group of young people auditioning for a place at the prestigious New York High School of Performing Arts. Only some of them will make the cut, but those who do soon discover that the dream isn’t all that it is cracked up to be. Each of them has their own struggles and hardships to overcome on top of all of the usual teenage pressures.
