Recess is an American animated TV series that was created by Paul Germain and Joe Ansolabehere. The title for the show is an American term for ‘break’ the kind you get in school which can be a general break and or the lunch time break. Recess focuses on six main characters and their daily encounters with each other, other kids and the teachers. The characters are P.J Detweiler, Ashley Spinelli, Vince LaSalle, Gretchen Grundler, Gus Griswald and Mikey Blumberg. Each episode focuses on a different encounter the group as a whole encounter.
