CSI: Miami is an American police procedural TV series, which ran from 2002 until 2012 and it was a TV spin off from its parent show CSI: Criminal Scene Investigation. The premise of this highly successful TV show was that it followed the lives of employees at Miami-Dade Police Department and how one by one they take down highly dangerous criminals in the Miami area. Unlike other TV shows in CSI: Miami they are cops first and scientist second. In the duration of this TV series it ran for a total of 232 episodes, this being over the space of 10 seasons.
