The Lord of the Rings is an absolutely epic film series and spans across three films; The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers and The Return of the King. The fantasy adventure film is based on the books of the same name written by J.R.R. Tolkien and is directed by Peter Jackson. These epic three movies following the adventures of these two hobbits Frodo Baggins and his companion Sam on their quest to destroy the one ring. Whilst these two hobbits embark on their quest there are other characters including Arragorn, Boromor, Legolas and Gandalf who embark on destroying the evil enemy.
