Magnum, P.I was a crime drama that was based is Oahu, Hawaii and this much adored series ran from 1980 to 1988 and was on the American CBS network. The main character from this show was Thomas Magnum who was the private investigator and was played by the actor Tom Selleck. The show is based in Robins Nest which is a fictional beach front estate on the island of Oahu, Hawaii and houses many of the main characters including Magnum himself.
